ABOUT JAIBHS

Our Mission

The Journal of AI in Biomedical & Health Sciences (JAIBHS) is an undergraduate- and high school–focused academic journal designed to make real research and publication accessible at an early stage.

Many students want to contribute to research, but struggle to take the first steps — not because they lack ability, but because research methodology can be unclear to beginners and publishing opportunities are rarely accessible to early-stage researchers.

We believe the interdisciplinary field of artificial intelligence in biomedical and health sciences is ideal for early researchers to build academic skills and contribute meaningful work — especially across medicine, public health, neuroscience, and related health sciences.

What We Aim To Do

  • Provide a credible, peer-reviewed publication platform for beginner and early-career researchers
  • Expose students to systematic, scoping, and narrative reviews using real academic standards (PRISMA, inclusion/exclusion criteria, database searching)
  • Promote interdisciplinary research at the intersection of AI, medicine, and health sciences
  • Prepare students to present at major conferences, labs, and professional journals
JAIBHS is not intended to compete with top-tier medical journals. It is an educational journal built to help early researchers develop the skills needed to succeed in high-impact academic publishing.

Our Team

JAIBHS is founded and run by undergraduate researchers who have presented at national and international research conferences and actively work in biomedical and clinical research.
