When is the submission deadline? ▾
JAIBHS accepts submissions year-round with rolling review. Issues are published periodically as manuscripts complete peer review and production.
Are there any fees? ▾
The $55 publication fee is requested only after acceptance. Need-based fee waivers are available, and papers are never rejected due to inability to pay.
What citation style should I use? ▾
JAIBHS accepts APA or Vancouver. All references must be complete and properly formatted.
What is the review process? ▾
Initial screening → double-blind peer review (2–3 reviewers) → editorial decision (accept / revisions / revise & resubmit / reject with feedback).
How long does review take? ▾
Timelines are being finalized. We’ll publish review-cycle targets once the first cycle begins.
What is JAIBHS’s policy on AI use? ▾
Submissions must be human-written. AI may be used for grammar, formatting, and reference organization — not to generate text, analysis, or data.
Will I receive proof/certification? ▾
Accepted authors receive an acceptance letter, a citable DOI, and a permanent journal link.
Can I submit to conferences using my JAIBHS paper? ▾
Yes — JAIBHS is designed to help students apply to conferences, undergraduate symposia, external journals, labs, and internships.
